Lupus

My Lupus story started about 25+ years ago. I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus, Sjogren's and Reynaud's. I have been on prednisone for those 25+ years anywhere from 10-60 mg along with many other prescriptions.  I had tried other products but always got discouraged with the inconvenience and/or the taste. In July I was introduced to ZIJA, Yeah! It's easy to take and it tastes great.  Just rip open the packet and dump in a bottle of water or pop a tab on the can. How easy is that?  Finally I found something that I can be consistent with and I was able to get down to  5 mg prednisone and one other prescription instead of the 7 or 8 prescriptions I had been on for hypothyroidism, depression, circulation problems, etc.  

As of the end of March 2010 I have completely reduced my prednisone intake. YEAH I no longer am tied to a prescription bottle! 

My most convincing experience with Zija was Labor day weekend '09. I had traveled 5 hours to be with my family and to go camping. About an hour and a half from home realized that I had forgot all my prescriptions. I was not about to ask my son to turn around and go back home...we were already 3 hours late.  I figured I would test out this new product... I went hiking, 4-wheeling, slept in the tent for 3 nights (1 night in wind & rain) and had no muscle or joint soreness or swelling. I felt great, NO Pain.

Another wonderful benefit that I have experience with taking Zija is I have been able to lose the 22 lbs. that I had gained after having surgery three years. This was weight that I had tried to lose without success until I was introduced to Zija. I credit combining the Zija Smart Mix with the XM3 drink for my weight loss. ~ Loreena James, Montana

LUPUS, FIBROMYALGIA, BLOOD PRESSURE, ETC.

I have never considered myself a health fanatic. I take the usual assortment of vitamins and supplements, but it’s never been a big focus for me. I’m not generally interested in multi-level marketing endeavors. So why, you might ask, am I involved in Zija? First of all, I’ve personally experienced a quantum improvement in my health after only one month of use.

I’ve had chronic, cutaneous lupus for over 10 years, using strong corticosteroids creams, the kind that warn, “Do not use on the face unless instructed by your doctor.” For this, I was also taking the anti-malarial drug, Plaquenil®, two different tetracycline pills, plus various antibiotic and retinoid creams. After one month of drinking Zija and also using it topically, the lesions are all but healed. I stopped using all lupus medications when I started using Zija.

I had been taking blood pressure medication for five years. Now I take none, and my blood pressure is normal.  I was taking Cymbalta®, a new designer drug approved for fibromyalgia. Now I take none, and I have no pain, no chronic exhaustion, and no numbness or tingling in my hands and feet.  I was taking 60 mg/day of Armour® for thyroid. I don’t need it anymore.

I used to spend at least an hour waking up, drinking coffee and trying to get focused. Now I get out of bed alert and energetic. Sometimes I even forget to drink my coffee. My family can attest to the difference in that behavior. My motto used to be, “Give me my coffee and no one gets hurt!”  My sleep was often disturbed and eight hours used to be just barely enough for me. Now I sleep like a baby and wake up refreshed after six hours, eager to start the day. And I’m no longer fighting off the urge to sleep as I sit at my desk in mid-afternoon.

So, why not just buy the product, why be involved in the business? My three reasons...
1. The retail cost of drinking Zija for a month is less than half the retail cost of all the prescriptions I was using. However, because our health-care system does not cover nutritional supplements (no matter how effective they are), my net cost is more expensive. Participating as a distributor provides the opportunity to get my Zija paid for.
2. This product is too good to keep to myself! I have provided samples to my friends and family and they want to be in on it too. The Moringa really is a “miracle tree,” but who’s going to believe it until they have experienced it? I certainly didn’t.
3. I truly believe that by expanding the use of Zija, I am contributing to better mental and physical health for my community, adding vibrancy, joy and well-being to the world, and creating peace and prosperity.   —Shannon Downey, Montana

I have MS and Lupus. I did not want Zija to work! I've been using some expensive treatments for my health problems and didn't really want to spend more. I've found that in addition to more energy, my eyesight seems to be improving, my mental clarity is better, I bounce back quicker when I think I'm getting a cold and in the heat of this summer my hands have not swollen up as they usually do.
